Bertie Does was born from a love of bringing people together and creating celebrations that feel beautiful, meaningful, and completely personal.

Based in Perth, we are a team of wedding and event planners, stylists, and coordinators who believe that every celebration should tell a story. Your story. Whether it's an intimate wedding, a lavish celebration, a milestone birthday, or a corporate event, we approach every project with creativity, care, and a genuine passion for what we do.

We know that planning an event can feel overwhelming. There are countless decisions to make, details to manage, and moving parts to coordinate. That's where we come in. Our role is to guide you through the process, simplify the complexities, and bring your vision to life with confidence and ease.

At Bertie Does, we are known for our thoughtful approach, meticulous organisation, and eye for design. We love creating spaces that feel welcoming and memorable, layering details that reflect your personality and ensuring every element works seamlessly together. From the first ideas and mood boards through to the final pack-down, we are by your side every step of the way.

More than anything, we believe that the best celebrations are the ones where you can be fully present. Laughing with your favourite people, soaking in the atmosphere, and creating memories that will last a lifetime. While you're enjoying the moments that matter most, we'll be working behind the scenes to ensure everything unfolds exactly as it should.

A note from our Creative Director

Creativity has had my heart for as long as I can remember.

As a child, I was always creating — drawing, writing, dancing, producing street plays with the neighbourhood kids, and constantly rearranging the furniture in my parents' living room. Looking back, it's no surprise that I found my way into events. I've always loved bringing ideas to life, creating beautiful spaces, and organising all the details that make something special.

After completing a double degree in Marketing and Event Management at Melbourne's Victoria University, I gained hands-on experience through internships with the L'Oréal Melbourne Fashion Festival, the Australian production of Wicked The Musical, and Relay For Life. From that moment, I knew this was exactly what I wanted to do.

Today, I still feel incredibly fortunate to call this my career. No two events are ever the same, and I love collaborating with talented creatives, building meaningful relationships with our clients, and being entrusted with life's most important celebrations.

What I love most about this work is getting to know our clients and transforming their ideas into something tangible and unforgettable. Seeing a vision come to life, watching guests experience a space for the first time, and witnessing those genuine moments of joy never gets old.

When I founded Bertie Does, my vision was simple: to create thoughtful, beautifully curated events while making the planning process feel seamless and enjoyable for our clients.
